HIV Antibody Testing
Student Health Services offers both anonymous and confidential HIV Antibody Testing. Information about these two services are provided below.

Anonymous HIV Testing Option
- Information Line - 530.754.7000
- Cost: Free
- Rapid, oral testing now available - results in 30 minutes using an oral sample
- Walk-in to make a same day appointment
- Go to the Cowell Annex (behind Cowell Student Health Center): Tuesdays 1-4 p.m.
- Fall, Winter and Spring Quarters only (Excluding breaks/summer session)
- Available to registered UC Davis students only
- Testing is anonymous
Also Available at the LGBT Resource Center
Yolo County Health Department also offers anonymous HIV testing to UC Davis students at the LGBT Resource Center on scheduled days. The LGBT Resource Center is located on campus at the University House Annex accross from Voorhies Hall. Fall Quarter dates are on the following Mondays from 5:30-7:30 p.m.: Oct. 6, Oct. 20, Nov. 3, and Nov. 17 (walk-in for same day appointment).
Confidential HIV Antibody Testing Option
- To make appointment, call 530.752.2349
- Cost: $25 total ($15* office visit + $10 for test)
*Effective Monday, June 16, 2008, office visits will cost $15 - Blood test only (using a blood sample)
- Two week wait for results
- Results given in-person
- Testing is confidential
