How I Work With Students
My personal philosophy in counseling is that every person has the key to healing themselves and by doing some internal exploration they can unlock their superpower. This can be uncovered through the therapeutic relationship we build together, where you learn to move out of the stuck places in your mind and body. You have the capacity to overcome multigenerational addiction, abuse, and trauma through the practices of counseling in a safe nonjudgmental environment with a counselor who practices the tenets of unconditional positive regard.
In my holistic approach to therapy, I often use Mindfulness, DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing and Systems Therapy to treat clients.
