Eligibility After A Registration Status Change
Whenever your registration status changes, your existing SHIP coverage and your eligibility for SHIP is impacted. Read this important information if you anticipate that your registration status will be changing, e.g., if you plan to graduate, go on PELP or Filing Fee, withdraw or cancel registration, or are dismissed:
Notification
If you change your registration status, you will NOT be individually notified of your loss of SHIP eligibility. Information regarding the impact of registration status change on SHIP eligibility is provided in the UCD Course Catalog, the Class Schedule and Registration Guide, and the CSHC insurance webpage. Blue Cross will provide a certificate to you upon cancellation of your membership, stating the beginning and ending dates of your SHIP coverage.
