Hours of Operation

Starting with regular hours of operation on Monday, September 19, 2011, SHCS will no longer be open on weekends. Please plan ahead for your medical care.

For confidential Advice Nurse services when SHCS Medical Services is closed, students can call the Anthem Blue Cross Nurse Line at 1.800.977.0027 and speak with nurses who will help them make informed decisions about their health situation.

Academic Year (Fall, Winter & Spring Quarters)

M, T, Th, F: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
W: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
Saturdays: Closed
Sundays: Closed

Summer Session & Quarter Breaks

M, T, Th, F: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
W: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Weekends: Closed on Weekends

Pharmacy Hours

The pharmacy is closed on all weekends. With the exception of weekend closure, the pharmacy follows the same hours of operation as the health center (including any modified hours and closures).

University Holidays

SHCS is closed during all University holidays. A complete list of University Holidays can be found in the UC Davis Academic & Administrative Calendar (UCD P&P Manual, Chapter 200-05).

2011-2012 Academic Year

SHCS Medical Services including the Pharmacy are closed on all university holidays and campus closure days. The following is a partial list of modified hours and days we are closed to help you plan ahead for medical care and medications:

  • September 5, 2011 - closed Labor Day
  • September 13, 2011 - closed Staff In-Service
  • October 20, 2011 - late opening at 9:30 due to site review
  • November 11, 2011 - closed Veterans Day
  • November 24-25, 2011 - closed Thanksgiving Holiday
  • December 26-27, 2011 - closed Winter Holiday
  • December 30, 2011, January 2, 2012 - closed New Year's Holiday
  • January 16, 2012 - closed Martin Luther King Day
  • February 20, 2012 - closed Presidents' Day
  • March 30, 2012 - closed Cesar Chavez Day
  • May 28, 2012 - closed Memorial Day
  • July 4, 2012 - closed Independence Day
