Hours of Operation

Due to UC systemwide budget and furlough directives, Student Health Services hours of operation during the 2009-2010 academic year will be changing. SHS will be:

closed at 5:30 pm on weekdays
closed on Sundays.

These changes are effective as of Saturday, September 19, 2009.

School Year

M, T, Th, F: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
W: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
Saturdays: 9:30 am - 1 pm (Urgent Care only)
Sundays: Closed

Summer Session & Quarter Breaks

M, T, Th, F: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
W: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Weekends: Closed on Weekends

Pharmacy Hours

The pharmacy is closed on all weekends. With the exception of weekend closure, the pharmacy follows the same hours of operation as the health center (including modified and holiday hours). Please note that the changes to SHS hours of operation also affect the pharmacy. The pharmacy will close at 5:30pm on weekdays.

University Holidays

Student Health Services is closed during all University holidays. A complete list of University Holidays can be found in the UC Davis Academic & Administrative Calendar (UCD P&P Manual, Chapter 200-05).

Days We are Closed and Modified Hours
2009-2010 Academic Year

Student Health Services and SHS Pharmacy are closed on all university holidays and campus closure days. In addition, SHS will be closed during Spring Break so that our department can move to our new location at the UC Davis Student Health and Wellness Center. The following is a list of modified hours and days we are closed to help you plan ahead for medical care and medications:

November 11, 2009 - closed Veterans Day
November 26-29, 2009 - closed Thanksgiving Holiday
December 14-17, 2009 - closed at 5pm (winter break hours)
December 18, 2009 - January 1, 2010 - campuswide closure and Winter Holidays
January 18, 2010 - closed Martin Luther King Day
February 15, 2010 - closed Presidents’ Day
March 20-28, 2010 - closed during move to SH&WC,campuswide closure, and Cesar Chavez Day
May 31, 2010 - closed Memorial Day
June 14-15, 2010 - campuswide closure
June 16, 2010 - summer hours begin; closed at 5pm until the beginning of Fall Quarter
July 5, 2010 - closed Independence Day (observed on Monday)
